Most of this early material was originally released between 1965 and 1971 as extended play 7" singles that accompanied Rag Baby magazine as cheap promotion for anti-war sentiments (Rag Baby was a left wing pamphlet magazine). It is worth checking out for the alternative versions of songs (like "I-Feel-Like-I'm- Fixing-To-Die") that later showed up on their Vanguard albums. The 7" singles come with their original artwork/sleeves. Liner notes and lyrics included. Also available on CD (AK 919).
