It was recorded during a number of shows that were part of the 'Zappa Plays Zappa' world tour; an ongoing endeavor to keep Frank's music alive.

Dweezil Zappa & band stick to the original arrangements, but in the 'free' sections, each of them prove that they are more than worthy musicians.
The credo 'Anything At Any Time For Any Reason At All' is kept as a leading motto throughout the concerts, and one can tell that this is a bunch of guys who know how to play.
