First released in 1972, 4 years before the Climax Blues Band became famous with "Couldn't Get It Right," Rich Man is an excellent release from the band's pre radio-friendly days. During this period their sound was a sort of energetic, yet refined, blues rock, led by the talented guitar playing of Pete Haycock, and refined sax and harmonica of Colin Cooper. Among the best tracks are "Shake Your Love," in perfect Bo Diddley style, and the Son House standard, "Don't You Mind People Grinning in Your Face." Akarma is proud to present this excellent mid-price title for the numerous fans of this great English band.
