The urban jazz grooves of Deodato, the Afro-tinged sounds of Thiago de Mello, and the jazzy bossa of Dino Rangel are some of the many styles found on this album, which reunites Brazil's coolest masters and emerging talents performing songs by Jobim, Caetano Veloso, and Carlinhos Brown. There's also the sambop of Claudio Roditi, the updated bossa rhythms of Pingarilho, Donato, and Palmyra & Levita, the global fusion of Jorge Pescara, the samba-house of Paula Faour & DJ Fino, plus an electrifying live version of Jorge Ben's classic "Mas Que Nada" by Ithamara Koorax & Dom Um Romão.
