WELCOME TO LPCDREISSUES
The Elvin Bishop Group's third longplayer, 1972's Rock My Soul, is just what Doctor Feelgood ordered from the guitar whiz who'd cut his teeth jamming with Chicago legends Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf and Little Walter. Produced by Delaney Bramlett (of Delaney And Bonnie), the album spotlights a self-confident Bishop belting out vocal leads on down-home classics like "Have A Good Time" and "Out Behind The Barn." As always, Bishop's double-jointed guitar work is a textbook case of good taste.
