Sad Singalong Songs is Dutch singer Anouk's latest album, and the first album on her own label Goldilox. The albums contains the hit song "Birds", the Dutch entry in the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden in May 2013. The track "Stardust" was released as a download to great public acclaim in December last year. "

The albums contains 10 fragile and introspective songs woven together into two side-long tracks. You'll need to experience this album from front to back - which shows the variety of emotions this 'bad girl' of Dutch Rock music is able to display artistically. Same as with her previous albums For Bitter Or Worse and To Get Her Together, she worked together with producers Martin Gjerstad and Torre Johansson of Franz Ferdinand and The Cardigans fame.
 
"Birds" will be performed by Anouk at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 on May, 14th 2013. Finals are May 18th.
