A selection of early work by the international Brazilian superstars Antonio Carlos Jobim and Luiz Bonfá, credited with starting the Bossa Nova revolution in Brazilian music. These recordings, culled from the mid-fifties, mark the earliest stages of the famous duo's career. Just a few years later, with the release of the Black Orpheus movie, both Jobim and Bonfá would be world-famous, this record therefore represents that last magical moment, when Jobim and Bonfá were still just two struggling musicians from Rio.
