Hailing from San Francisco, Readyville are singer/guitarist Nick Palatucci and multi-instrumentalist Eoin Galvin. They craft sparse country/blues weepers in the tradition of Merle/Willie/Buck, etc. Like a stripped down Old 97's (back when they ruled), a more country Mountain Goats or a less goofy Loudon Wainwright III, Readyville's songs will rope you in with their witty turns of phrase and catchy melodies. Don't tell us country isn't hip anymore, this shit is timeless.
