LPCDreissues: Looking forward to the past

Another folk-rock find, exclusively yours from Collectors’ Choice Music! The Robbs were three brothers and a cousin from Wisconsin discovered by Dick Clark, who installed them as regulars on 'American Bandstand' and helped get them a contract with Mercury Records, for whom the band recorded this, their only album under the Robbs name (they later made bigger names for themselves as producers). A tuneful slice of 1967 folk pop—think Cowsills, Beau Brummels, Turtles—this record just barely scraped the 'Billboard' Top 200 when it came out, but since then has commanded big bucks in collector circles and been requested repeatedly by our customers. Hmmm…a folk-rock cult classic requested by customers? Where do we sign?
