LPCDreissues: Looking forward to the past

Seeing as how we were the label that put out four of the Limeliters’ long-lost RCA albums, how could we not release the first record they ever made?! Especially when it was such an important one, being the first (1961) charting release on the Elektra label! Jac Holzman himself co-produced this one, and Glenn Yarbrough, Lou Gottlieb and Alex Hassilev are in fine fettle (Alex graciously contributes new notes to our reissue). Includes 'Hammer Song; Battle at Gandessa; Charlie the Midnight Marauder; Zhankoyl; When I First Came to This Land; Malaguena; The Bear Chase; The Burro; Gari Gari; John Henry', 'Times Are Getting Hard' and Lonesome Traveler.
