LPCDreissues: Looking forward to the past

This interesting album from the Canadian pianist comes from the short period when Bley, at the beginning of the 70's, dedicated himself to electronic experimentation, accompanying the piano with diverse types of electric pianos and synthesizers, with inspiration from Miles Davis, who was presenting this new form to the jazz world. Bley added a formidable percussion & rhythm section to offer an extra touch. Additional artists include Dave Holland (bass), who came directly from the Miles Davis group, Barry Altschul on drums, Annette Peacock, and Carla Bley.
