If you ever felt you could drown in the plethora of Lee Perry’s albums,
released under the most varied monikers, here is one that is worth the
purchase. Reissued on our fine Earmark 180 virgin premium vinyl
label and faithful to the original Trojan release, Scratch The Upsetter
Again is a beautifully inspired album originally released during the
wave of success initiated by his previous The Return Of Django. Very
mellow and introspective, this album reflects a moment of joy and contemplation caused by the
birth of Perry’s daughter in February 1970. The grooves are relaxing, Dave Barker’s vocals superb
and spaced out in Perry’s trademark dub-imaginary science fiction soundtrack sound.
