This is a 2LP soundtrack to the UK theatrical release of the 'Searching For Sugar Man' documentary, the story of two fans searching for their musical hero, Mexican-American artist Sixto Diaz Rodriguez. Rodriguez became massive in South Africa, but left the music business in the early 1970s. This album includes tracks from his two albums 'Cold Fact' (produced by Dennis Coffey and including Funk Brothers Bob Babbitt and Andrew Smith) and 'Coming From Reality'. The music is a fusion of gritty funk, political poetry and blissful psych-folk. Double LP with download.
