Undoubtedly one of the most versatile modern jazz singers, Sarah Vaughan is also one of the brightest true stars of be-bop. Recorded in December 1954, this jam session sees Ms. Vaughan together with her steady trio (Jimmy Jones on piano, Joe Benjamin on double bass and Roy Haynes on drums), plus the amazing trumpet of Clifford Brown, whose career will come abruptly to an end due to a car crash in 1956.
