The American singer, songwriter and guitarist Boz Scaggs gained fame in the 1970s with several Top 20 hit singles in the United States.
In 1976, he linked up with a bunch of session musicians who would later form Toto and with them he recorded his seventh album, 'Silk Degrees', which became a huge hit. The album reached #2 on the US Billboard 200, and #1 in a number of countries across the world, spawning three hit singles: 'Lowdown', 'Lido Shuffle' and 'What Can I Say', as well as the MOR standard 'We're All Alone', later recorded by Rita Coolidge and Frankie Valli.
