Brother John Sellars was both the MC and a performer at Gerdes Folk City, New York in the early 60s when Lonnie Johnson, Victoria Spivey, Sonny Terry and Odetta were being introduced to a whole new audience.
This CD includes the two 10" Vanguard albums "Brother John Sellars Sings Blues and Folk" and "Brother John Sellars and Sonny Terry". Both were recorded in 1954.
