In 1968, right before their breakthrough full length LP Supersnazz, the Flamin'Groovies put out the incredible Sneakers EP, in a sort of counter-trend to 1960'srock music. As all giants of rock were keen on hard psychedelia, the Flamin' Grooviesissued their debut revisiting garage r'n'r of the Fifties, citing as their prime influencesbands like the Lovin' Spoonful and Jim Kweskin's Jug Band.
