STARLESS successfully fusions hard-rock and Progressive rock, paying a particular attention to the latter. Then, we find there blended influences of the Seventies masters such as DEEP PURPLE, URIAH HEEP and YES. The symphonicism so characteristic of the Japanese school hasn't been forgotten either: fans of powerful, dynamic, pompous music, those musicians also integrated the refinement and style of an OUTER LIMITS. The themes are concise, built on square rhythms, energetic guitar riffs, powerful feminine vocals and emphatic keyboards. The label Musea offers now the reissue on a single CD of the album "Song Of Silence" (1992) compiled with the single "Wish". Not to be missed !
