this is considered to be one of the finest albums of the progressive era. containing some of mcphee's most dramatic guitar work with such anthemic titles such as "cherry red" standing out. it also includes a version of j.l. hooker's "ground hog", which was another tribute to their mentor. this album reached the number 5 spot in the uk, and came out just after their tour with the rolling stones.
