Reinhardt was the first artist of his genre to emerge in Europe, and also the first to front a jazz combo using an acoustic guitar. Reinhardt was a gypsy and self taught musician who transformed his free spirit into the joyful swinging sounds of his guitar, becoming point of reference for other guitarists like Charlie Christian and Les Paul. For years Reinhardt was accompanied by another jazz musician of mythic proportions, Stephane Grappelli. All recordings are of excellent audio quality. A must for all fans!
