His real name was Nikolaos Asimopoulos, and made history in Greek music and the Singer, songwriter Pavlos Sidiropoulos left a deep mark on the Greek music scene. He effortlessly linked rock and blues sounds with the traditional music of Greece and rebetiko sounds! Despite his early demise at 42, he left us a remarkable musical heritage.
Sidiropoulos turned rock music into a deeply personal musical idiom, and became one of the protagonists of the Greek music scene.The posthumous version - "The Blues of the Prince" was released in 1992 by Panos Iliopoulos's label "The Door that Opens" and the Music Box.
