Often credited as the founders of an "intellectual" branch of heavy metal, future rock critics Sandy Pearlman and Richard Meltzer (friends from Long Island, NY) took their new formula and made it golden (literally). By the time this live LP was recorded in 1983 in Pasadena, CA, the BÖC had already had multiple gold albums and was getting ready to release their ninth studio album, The Revolution By Night. Despite the proximity of the two recordings, none of the 13 tracks found here are from the studio album. Instead, it features earlier classic material like "Harvester Of Eyes," "Workshop Of The Telescopes," "Seven Screaming Dizbusters" and "Cities On Flame (With Rock 'n Roll)". Excellent sound quality.
