WELCOME TO LPCDREISSUES
Dewey Redman’s second recording as a leader took place at Studio E.T.A. in Paris on October 1, 1969 (at the time he was working regularly with Ornette Coleman). The obscure tenor saxophonist Redman is joined here on 5 of his own compositions by AEC’s Malachi Favors (bass) and Ed Blackwell (drums). His playing exhibited a wild style which always involved the practice of mouthing and vocalizing.
