"The Experience Sessions" is a collection of rare tracks recorded by Noel Redding during his
career as bassist for the Jimi Hendrix Experience. At the time of this recording Redding was on
the brink of leaving the group to begin his solo career (he went on to form Fat Mattress in 1969).
The tracks presented here were not recorded for release as a Jimi Hendrix Experience album,
although almost all tracks feature Hendrix on guitar and Mitch Mitchell on drums. Highlights
include: "There Ain't Nothing Wrong", featuring Dave Mason (guitarist of Traffic); a live version
of "Red House", recorded in '68 at the Olympia in Paris with Hendrix in top form; a previously unreleased version of "Walking
Through The Garden" with Chris Wood of Traffic on flute; an alternate version of "How Can I Live?" and "Noel's Tune" and "Little,
Little Girl", two more previously unreleased versions that complete this tribute to the great Noel Redding.
