LPCDreissues: Looking forward to the past

After seven years on the Creation label Momus returned to Cherry Red in 1995 with this eclectic album of songs about everything from body piercing and gender crossing to the mechanisation of memory. Styles range from reggae through Beck-like blues to toybox techno and stripped down acoustic and electronic pop. The Independent described the album as 'vastly intelligent, vastly entertaining'.
