WELCOME TO LPCDREISSUES
One of the most eclectic groups to come out of the American blues scene during the second half of the ’70s. The harmonicist Corky Siegel, who has a style close to Paul Butterfield and Charlie Musselwhite, also plays elctric piano and sings with a very personal vocal timbre. Jim Schwall plays a plugged-in acoustic guitar, an unusual choice for a blues band of that period. The album includes cover versions of classic like “Down In The Bottom” (Howlin’ Wolf), “Boot Hill” (Jimmy Whiterspoon), “Hoochie Coochie Man” (Willie Dixon), “So Glad You’re Mine” (Arthur Crudup), together with original tracks.
