A sensational character in the R'n'R scene, Liverpudlian Ronald
Wycherley (aka Billy Fury), was by far one of the most talented true
rockers to emerge from the late 50s British rock frenzy, together with
the likes of Tommy Steele and Cliff Richard. The Sound Of Fury, his first
full length LP, released in 1960 on 10" format, bears witness to how
this legend of Rockabilly could bring down the house from any sort of
stage in showbiz. Definitely one of the most acclaimed British answers to the Elvis mania, Billy Fury
remains a legend and his Sound Of a trademark of inspiration for many rock musicians throughout
the years.
