On the way back from his successful 1969 UK tourpromoting his atmospheric instrumentals extremelypopular among young skinheads in Great Britain, LEEPERRY launched his new label 'Justice League', a namethat wanted to be a tribute to DC Comics. This is thebeginning of the "Wonderman" period, so called becauseof Perry's self-definition as the male equivalent to Wonder Woman.
