As one of the most influential rock groups in the late eighties, Living Colour proved that blending hard rock with funk, soul, rap and punk can be a very successful undertaking.
Vernon Reid's incredible guitar work drives the songs on Time's Up (1990) to new heights, two years after their huge debut Vivid. Fans of Vivid that expected the band to polish their sound to a poppy hit machine were proved wrong: Living Colour wrote songs just as they liked them best, even allowing some Bad Brains influences into the title track. This genuinity paid off: Time's Up went gold in a blink of an eye and even won a Grammy Award.
Be quick on this one: the first 500 copies are pressed on bright yellow vinyl!"
