NORTH STAR is an American power-trio driven by the LEONARD brothers, and regularly completed by a guitar player as a guest. It orchestrates the marriage of EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER's virtuosity and bursting GENESIS' lyricism, thanks to the superb voice of bass player Joe NEWMAN and the powerful keyboards of Kevin LEONARD. Created around the middle of the Seventies, the band had to wait until 1982 to print its first discographical step: "Triskelion" is now reissued by the Musea label, with a complete biography and lots of bonus-tracks. One could hear highly colorful melodies, full of power and beauty. "Feel The Cold" dates back from 1985, and "Power" from 1992. "Tempest" marks the return of the band in the year 2000. Not to be missed !
