MATTHEW SWEET and SUSANNA HOFFS (of THE BANGLES) first came together via MIKE MYERS and are featured in all three AUSTIN POWERS movies. They decided to pay tribute to all their heroes including THE BEATLES, VELVET UNDERGROUND, NEIL YOUNG, BOB DYLAN and LOVE amongst others on this first of their "covers collection". To add real authenticity they got the legendary VAN DYKE PARKS best known for his work with the BEACH BOYS to play keyboards and write the string arrangements.
