Though they are perhaps best known for two things: the #1 hit single “Baby, Come Back”, and being the launching pad for the career of Eddy Grant, The Equals were a stellar mod-pop and soul group. Formed in North London in 1965 by Guyanese native Grant, along with John Hall, Pat Lloyd, and twin brothers Derv and Lincoln Gordon, Unequalled Equals is their debut album, originally released in 1967. Featuring the all-time classic “Baby, Come Back” and eleven more dance-floor fillers, this ‘60s British pop classic is sure to keep the party going.
