Jody Grind are a milestone of the '70s British underground, and were the laboratory for Tim Hinkley, the versatile musician who collaborated with a lot of different artists of the music jet-set, such as Joan Armatrading, Bo Street Runners, Boxers, Roger Chapman (Family), Whitesnake and Tom Waits. Tim recorded many of those live sessions, keeping the tracks hidden for about 20 years! Finally, after all this time, Akarma is releasing the first part of these legendary sessions under the moniker of "Hinkleys Heroes". Volume 1 features the following big artists: Neil Hubbard (Elton John's "Bluesology"), Graham Bond, Joe Cocker, Marianne Faithful, Brian Ferry, Al Cooper, Robert Palmer, Alvin Lee, Bobby Tench (Jeff Beck Group), Kuma Arada (Peter Green), Zoot Mooney, Mitch Mitchell (Jimi Hendrix Experience), and more!!!
