Without Rhino Records, there might not be a 'Collectors’ Choice Music'. Rhino was the first label to package pop music of the past with love and respect, an approach we’ve certainly tried to emulate here. And there might not be a Rhino Records had not a certain Larry “Wild Man” Fischer stumbled through the doors of the Rhino Record Store in Westwood and become fond of owners Harold Bronson and Richard Foos; so fond, in fact, that he wrote 'Go to Rhino Records' in appreciation of the store, which Bronson and Foos pressed as a single, which led to an album...and the rest, as they say, is music industry history. So here it is, Rhino 001, the first LP put out by the label, with notes by Bronson himself and Larry’s mostly a capella ravings. Only from 'Collectors’ Choice Music'... Includes 'My Name Is Larry; Jimmy Durante; I Light the Pilot; Josephine; Do the Wildman; I’m a Truck; Sir Larry; Who’s Your Favorite Singer?; Go to Rhino Records; Handy Man; Disco in Frisco; Do the Wildman (and Other Dances); I’m Selling Peanuts for the Dodgers; I’m the Meany; Wild Man Fischer Impersonation Contest; Guitar Licks; What Do You Think of Larry?; Young At Heart', and 'My Name Is Larry (Reprise)'.
