'Witness' was the second of three albums recorded by a revamped version of SpookyTooth and first released in 1973. Bluesy singer Mike Harrison is backed once again by future star keyboard player Gary Wright, who wrote most of the material together with guitarist Mick Jones. The music scene was certainly turning and changing as SpookyTooth entered the Seventies and they found it difficult to keep the band on course and finally broke up in 1974. However, this long lost album shows just how much talent resided within a pioneering outfit that blended rock and soulful vocals with creative musicianship.Mick Jones went on to form platinum-selling megaband Foreigner and GaryWright had a smash hit single with 'Dream Weaver' in 1976.
