A little known pioneer, Annette Peacock's innovative style of vocals and composition has earned her critical acclaim around the world. After cutting her teeth as a member of the jazz avant garde (touring with Albert Ayler & collaborating heavily with Paul Bley. She made further history for her pioneering work with the Moog synthesizer. (She was the first to use it live and to use it to electronically modify vocals). Her critically acclaimed "X-Dreams", released in 1978 after her move to the UK, is an emotionally and sexually charged voyage through minimalist "free form" musical environments. An oneiric journey through experimental jazz rock, featuring such luminaries as Chris Spedding, Mick Ronson, and Bill Bruford, to name a few.
