Originally released in 1975, Ambrosia introduced the Los Angeles band’s distinctive blend of progressive rock, art rock and polished melodic songwriting. With sophisticated vocal harmonies, adventurous arrangements and a refined studio sound, the album stands apart from the softer radio style the group would later become associated with.

Featuring the singles Nice, Nice, Very Nice and Holdin' On To Yesterday, the record combines accessible melodies with intricate musicianship, rich keyboard textures and ambitious song structures. This Eclipse Records edition presents the band’s classic debut, still regarded as one of the strongest American progressive rock albums of the mid-1970s.
