Burning Plague’s sole album is one of those records that perfectly captures the moment when British blues rock began evolving into something heavier and more adventurous. Built on muscular guitar riffs, expressive Hammond organ and confident songwriting, the band balances hard-driving rock with touches of psychedelia and progressive ambition. Rather than relying on extended jams alone, the songs are tightly constructed while still leaving room for inspired instrumental interplay.

Originally released in 1970, the album remained overlooked for many years despite its strong musicianship and memorable compositions.
