-Expertly remastered - superb
sound. Rick Derringer found fame as guitar player and singer with band The McCoys, one of the first young American
bands to visit London from the States in the Sixties. They enjoyed a hit with 'Hang On Sloopy'. Derringer later worked
with Johnny Winter and has also played on albums by Alice Cooper, Steely Dan, Edgar Winter and Todd Rundgren.
Real name Richard Zehringer, Derringer made several solo albums starting with 'All American Boy' in 1974. Its garish
pin-up style cover created a big impact, and the music proved equally attractive.
One of the numbers, 'Rock'n'Roll Hoochie Koo', was a big US hit single. There are 12 tracks on the album, including
the instrumentals 'Joy Ride' and 'Time Warp', that display all the different facets of Derringer's exuberant musical
personality. We have added 2 bonus tracks, including the single versions of 'Teenage Love Affair' & 'Rock And Roll
Hoochie Koo'. Track listing: -Rock And Roll Hoochie Koo
