Budgie is a Welsh hard rock and heavy metal band formed in 1967, often regarded as pioneers of the heavy metal genre. Their music blends progressive rock elements with heavy riffs, influencing numerous bands that followed.

Impeckable is Budgie's seventh studio album, released on February 17, 1978, through A&M Records. Recorded in 1977 at Springfield Sound Studio in Aylmer, Ontario, Canada, the album was produced by the band alongside Richard Manwaring. This release marked the final studio appearance of original guitarist Tony Bourge, who departed the band shortly after the album's release. The album showcases a blend of hard rock and progressive elements, with tracks like "Melt the Ice Away," "Smile Boy Smile," and "Don't Dilute the Water" highlighting the band's musical versatility. While the album did not chart, it remains a significant entry in Budgie's discography.
