The debut album by legendary early seventies Texas band Nitzinger is finally available again on CD! Featuring incisive tracks punctuated by the above-average guitar playing of leader and guitar guru John Nitzinger (another killer axeman, Bugs Henderson, is also present on almost every track, although his name did not originally appear in the sleeve credits), and an adrenaline pumped rhythm section featuring Linda Waring on drums and Curly Benton on bass and vocals. The band's sound can be compared to that of Frank Marino in his prime. In other words, this is authentic hard blues rock. Nitzinger's name is also linked to that of another great band, Bloodrock, label mates and friends with similar musical tastes, so prepare yourself for an aural guitar-heavy assault...Texas style!
