The diabolic ones here are leaders of a lost tribe. Austin Grasmere and Brian Elliot lead the rites in winter 1968. Primordial, wild & heavy, Cromagnon could be considered the demented step-fathers of Germany's infamous Einsturzende Neubauten, or Psychic TV, or perhaps Test Dept, all of whom must have listened to this record sometime between wearing diapers and finishing middle school. Wierd, tribal percussion, distortion, noise, chanting, screaming and, of course, bag pipes. This is a great record!
