Although Motörhead had already gathered a healthy cult following with their self-titled debut, it was their second album (originally released in 1979) that was their breakthrough. Produced by Jimmy Miller (of Rolling Stones fame) Overkill became an immediate classic, breaking into the Top 30 on the British charts and solidifying the Motörhead sound. Lemmy once said that if Motörhead moved into the house next to yours, your lawn would die. This is Motörhead in its unholy trinity formation. Nemo Malus Felix!
