Keef Hartley's first claim to fame was his stint as drummer for John Mayall, after he parted company with John he went on to form the keef hartley band which swung to the rock side of British Blues and over the next few years isued numerous succesful albums. The 1970 album Battle of North and Six was his sophmore release and is now receiving a vital reissue.
