This 1971 album (the Dr's 4th) was originally intended as a triple album but was cut down into a single-disc release. The seven tracks are all quite lengthy and weave dark and swampy spells. "Black John the Conqueror" comes from old Cajun folklore whilst "Pots on Fiyo (Fils Gumbo)" combines Latin American rhythms with lots of Cajun chants and spells. There are also guest appearances from Eric Clapton, Mick Jagger, Graham Bond and many others. Weird and wonderful. Gatefold sleeve.
