Following an 8-year hiatus, Swedish prog rockers Anekdoten return with their sixth album 'Until All The Ghosts Are Gone'. On this release the band delivers a moody sonic adventure with penetrating melodies from singer/guitarist Nicklas Barker, evocative mellotron soundscapes from Anna Sofi Dahlberg, underpinned by Jan Erik Liljestrom's grinding bass and Peter Nordin's defined drums and sizzling cymbals. There are guest appearances from old friends Per Wiberg (Ex-Opeth) on organ and Gustav Nygren (New Rose) on sax. Also appearing are two Englishmen, virtuoso flautist Theo Travis (Steven Wilson, Robert Fripp, David Sylvian) and guitarist Marty Willson-Piper (The Church, All About Eve, The Saints).
