This material was recorded in the period November 1967-October 1970, mainly at Maida Vale (in London). One track was recorded at Trident Studios, also in London, and the LP also includes a track that was recorded for the German Beat Club TV show (April 5, 1970), songs that were taped for John Peel's (BBC) Top Gear show in 1968, and a demo track from 1967.
