Babe Ruth, a British rock band formed in 1972, is renowned for their eclectic fusion of progressive rock, funk, jazz, and Latin influences. Led by guitarist and composer Alan Shacklock and dynamic vocalist Janita "Jenny" Haan, the band gained recognition for their unique sound and compelling performances.

This collection compiles Babe Ruth's first three albums recorded under the Harvest label: First Base (1972), Amar Caballero (1974), and Babe Ruth (1975). Each album is presented in a remastered format with bonus tracks, offering a total of 142 minutes of music.
