SONY Italy official repress!! The Jimi Hendrix Experience was a revolutionary rock trio formed in 1966, featuring Jimi Hendrix (guitar/vocals), Noel Redding (bass), and Mitch Mitchell (drums). The band was known for pushing musical boundaries with a mix of psychedelic rock, blues, funk, and experimental soundscapes, powered by Hendrix’s unmatched guitar artistry and innovative use of effects.

Electric Ladyland was released in October 1968, Electric Ladyland is the third and final studio album by The Jimi Hendrix Experience, and is widely considered Hendrix’s masterpiece. It’s a sprawling double album that showcases his full creative range—from fiery rock (“Crosstown Traffic”) to haunting ballads (“1983... (A Merman I Should Turn to Be)”) and extended jams (“Voodoo Chile”).

The album features the legendary cover of Bob Dylan’s "All Along the Watchtower," which became one of Hendrix’s most iconic recordings. Electric Ladyland blends psychedelia, blues, soul, and studio experimentation, and reflects Hendrix’s increasing control as a producer and composer.

It remains a landmark in rock history and a defining statement of Hendrix’s artistic vision.
