The Mighty MOBY GRAPE (beset by various and protracted legal problems since their famous debut release back in 1967) resorted to recording in secret. A limited release on cassette issued under the name THE MELVILLES appeared briefly and became legendary amongst followers of San Francisco rock and MOBY GRAPE fanatics when it appeared in 1990.Ten previously un-issued tracks recorded around the same time as the cassette have been added and all the original members were involved in the making of "Legendary Grape".
